Overview

Cloud Tank Designer (CTD) is a browser-based parametric 3D storage tank modeler. Define your tank by diameter, stacked shell courses, floor and roof type — fixed cone, fixed dome, or external/internal floating roof — then place nozzles, manways, ladders, and platforms directly on the 3D model.

Every design is revision controlled and stored securely in the cloud, with auto-generated screenshot thumbnails and secure read-only sharing via signed links.

Key Features

Parametric Shell & Roof

Stack shell courses with independent height and thickness. Choose flat, coned-up, or coned-down floors, and fixed cone/dome or floating (external/internal) roofs.

Nozzles & Manways

Place sized nozzles and manways on the shell, roof, or floor with elevation, angular position, and projection — real-time 3D visualization as you add them.

Ladders & Platforms

Add caged straight or spiral ladders, and roof access platforms with optional handrails, positioned by angle and elevation.

Dual Revision System

Alpha mode (A, B, C...) for work-in-progress drafts. Promote to numeric mode (Rev 0, 1, 2...) for formal issued documents. Full revision history with descriptions.

Screenshot Thumbnails

Auto-generated PNG thumbnails on every save. Displayed in the project index for quick visual identification of designs without opening each file.

Secure Sharing

Share read-only 3D viewers via signed URLs (7-day expiry). All editing tools are hidden in viewer mode. No account required for recipients.
