Material requirements are entered as size-range rows across six tables (pipe, flanges, fittings, gaskets, couplings, olets). The engine checks every size against your design conditions and flags anything that does not meet the selected code.

Each pipe row selects its seam type — SMLS, ERW, EFW, DSAW or FBW — which drives the joint efficiency E in the wall-thickness formula. Options adapt to the material (plastic pipes have no seam).

Wall thickness uses t = P·D / [2·(S·E·W + P·Y)], where E is the per-row joint efficiency from the pipe seam type, W is the weld strength factor (interpolated with temperature) and Y is the coefficient from the selected code.
